I started selling meat boxes direct to customers 13 years ago as a way to make sure my income from the livestock wasn’t solely dependent on the prices at market.
And that’s still as relevant today as it was all those years ago.
What’s even better about selling direct from farm to customer now is that more and more people are keen to know what they are eating and where it has come from, so there is a great demand for the products.
I put together the Box Clever course to share the knowledge and experience I have gained along the way through tips and tricks, as well as sharing what not to do, because farming is hard enough. I am on a mission to help you see that trying something new doesn’t have to be difficult, and you can boost your income and make your business more sustainable with a few simple changes to things you are already doing.
In the course, you will be guided through the key elements of how to set up and successfully sell your beef, lamb or pork, direct from farm to customers.
We look at regulations and compliance as well as the business aspects of pricing and marketing.

Past participants have found the course a really helpful way to make sure they have everything in place before beginning the sales of their meat boxes.
This time of year is a great time to do it. With the darker nights meaning more time inside, you can spend the winter getting yourself prepared so that when your next round of meat is ready, you will know exactly what to do.
I am running an online group course this November over two evenings on the 11th and 12th via zoom. Making it a perfect way to make use of the darker evening.
You will be provided with a resource pack you can use to make getting set up even easier. As well as having plenty to ask questions during the sessions.
Groups are kept small to allow for discussion. Book your space via the website: https://myweecroftie.com/products/box-clever?variant=54831449866616
I look forward to helping you master the art of selling meat boxes.
