Grass-Fed Mutton Boxes

Our mutton comes from our own sheep, raised here on the croft in Caithness.

Mutton is one of those meats that I think is hugely underrated. It has much more flavour than lamb and is brilliant for proper cooking, from slow-cooked roasts and stews to curries, mince dishes and chops.

Each box contains a mix of cuts which may include:

* Rolled shoulder

* Leg roast

* Chops

* Mince

* Diced mutton

* Shanks

* Ribs

5kg box

A good size for smaller households, or if you fancy trying mutton without filling half the freezer.

10kg box

Ideal for families, batch cooking or stocking the freezer.

Raised here, by us

Our sheep are grass-fed and raised here on the croft. We only sell meat from our own animals, so we know exactly where it has come from and how those animals have been cared for throughout their lives.

Mutton is naturally seasonal for us, so boxes are only available at certain times of year rather than all year round.

Collection and delivery

Boxes can be collected from the croft.

Local delivery is also available within Caithness. If you would like delivery, please make sure you add the delivery charge when ordering.

A wee note about the boxes

Every animal is different, so the exact mix of cuts will vary slightly from box to box. We divide everything as fairly as possible so everyone gets a good mixture.

All meat is butchered, packed and labelled ready for your freezer.
